SMS Consent & Opt-In

DRVR collects consent to send SMS (text message) notifications through the following opt-in paths:

1. Rider Account Registration

When a rider creates an account or books a ride, they are asked to provide a phone number. At the point of entry, the following consent language is displayed:

"By providing your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from DRVR regarding your ride — including driver assignment, arrival notifications, and trip updates. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time."

Consent is not a condition of service. Riders may use DRVR without providing a phone number, in which case no SMS messages are sent.

2. Concierge / Partner Booking on Behalf of a Rider

When a concierge partner enters a passenger's phone number to book a ride on their behalf, the partner confirms they have obtained the passenger's verbal or written consent to receive ride-related SMS updates for that trip.

3. Driver Registration

Drivers provide a phone number during onboarding. At that point, the following consent language is displayed:

"By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS notifications from DRVR regarding ride assignments, dispatch alerts, and account updates. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

Message Types Sent

• Ride confirmation and driver assignment
• Driver arrival notifications
• Trip status updates (started, completed)
• Booking reminders for scheduled rides
• Account and dispatch alerts for drivers

DRVR does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages. All messages are transactional and directly related to a booked ride or account event.

Opt-Out

Recipients may reply STOP to any DRVR SMS message to opt out immediately. Opt-out requests are honored within one business day. Alternatively, contact us at contact@drvr.limo to remove your number.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on ride activity. A typical ride generates 2–4 SMS messages (confirmation, driver en route, arrival, completion).

Data Handling

Phone numbers are stored securely and used solely for ride-related notifications. Numbers are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS delivery is powered by Twilio; see Twilio's Privacy Policy for how they handle message data.
